On weekends young people go out clubbing and end up completely drunk; being sick on the streets and causing fights and confrontation. Why do people do it? Is it peep pressure, because they see other people do it, they feel it necessary to do the same? They don't seem to realize the health consequences. Binge drinking can result in Liver damage which is very serious and can lead to long term illnesses such as cancers and irreversable Liver malfunction. People as young as 13, 14 are out on the streets with their large bottles of Cider causing mayhem. The law is that no persons under the age of 18 should not be given alcohol over the counter, so why are they still allow to do so? Although superstores such as Asda and Tesco have a policy that if you don't look over the age of 25 they have the right to request I.D, corner shops don't follow the policy 100%.
