Rape


Rape is an act by when a person forces another person to have sexual intercourse with them against their will. Victims of rape are usually women but young children and teenagers can also be the victims of rape. Rape is a crime and if found guilty the person can be sentenced to a time serve in prison. Most people, who have been raped, know the rapist; they are usually a relative or an acquaintance. When a person has been raped, they may feel a sense of fear, confusion and stress; services are available for people who need to talk to someone in confidence for advice.
